This is a direct threat to their health and life.<\/p>\n<p>In this context, we would like to remind you of the research results of the Institute of Structural Research &#8220;Differences in the quality of work between platform workers from Poland and migrants&#8221;, published almost two years ago. Contrary to the title, this research was not about who works and how efficiently. It was mainly about the difference in motivation to work for the Platforms and the conditions in which this work is performed.<\/p>\n<p>The summary reads:<br \/>\n<em>Migrants take up platform work mainly because they have no other source of income or no other employment opportunities. Meanwhile, Poles are mainly looking for flexibility and independence. Migrants&#8217; working conditions and quality are noticeably worse in terms of working time, work-life balance, multidimensional deprivation and job satisfaction. Chodzi\u0142o g\u0142\u00f3wnie o r\u00f3\u017cnic\u0119 w motywacji do podj\u0119cia pracy dla Platform, oraz w warunkach jakich si\u0119 t\u0105 prac\u0119 wykonuje.\r\n\r\nW podsumowaniu czytamy:\r\n<em>Migranci podejmuj\u0105 prac\u0119 platformow\u0105 g\u0142\u00f3wnie z powodu braku innego \u017ar\u00f3d\u0142a dochod\u00f3w lub braku innych mo\u017cliwo\u015bci zatrudnienia. Tymczasem Polacy szukaj\u0105 g\u0142\u00f3wnie elastyczno\u015bci i niezale\u017cno\u015bci. Warunki i jako\u015b\u0107 pracy migrant\u00f3w s\u0105 zauwa\u017calnie gorsze pod wzgl\u0119dem czasu pracy, r\u00f3wnowagi mi\u0119dzy \u017cyciem zawodowym a prywatnym, wielowymiarowej deprywacji i satysfakcji z pracy.
