Many people working for Platform have high hopes for it. They say it clearly: its reasonable implementation is a chance to end exploitation. Maybe so. The directive was adopted in 2019 and was to be implemented within two years. And what? And 5 years have passed and the work is still ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>Second: the state of California (USA) in 2020 enacted a law forcing Platforms to provide labor rights to their drivers and suppliers. This law was challenged by the Uber Platform. And the case has been dragging on for 4 years, making it no longer valid! 4 years! The amount spent on handling this matter shows how the introduction of this law will affect the Platform&#8217;s operations.
