Yet, for months, everything has been at a standstill. On the Government Legislation Centre\u2019s website, the last entry regarding the draft bill dates back to August 24. By September 6, the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy had collected feedback from three major trade union confederations.<\/p>\n<p>Two weeks ago, we asked the Ministry for an update on the progress\u2014we received no response. It is possible that work is happening behind the scenes within the ministries, but one thing is certain: the government will miss the deadline. After all, the bill still requires approval from other ministries, government committees, and so on. Then it must be approved by the cabinet, followed by parliamentary debates, committee and subcommittee reviews, votes, the Senate, potentially a return to the Sejm, and finally, the President\u2019s signature. There is absolutely zero chance of meeting a deadline that has been known for TWO YEARS! And this is happening while the Ministry is headed by a representative of The Left\u2014a party that claims to care so deeply about workers&#8217; rights!<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the point isn&#8217;t just to implement the Directive; it is to implement it in line with its intended purpose\u2014namely, to improve the protection of workers&#8217; rights.<\/p>\n<p>And if you are prone to *schadenfreude*, here is a small consolation: so far, only one European Union country\u2014Slovakia\u2014has implemented the Directive. Potem zatwierdzenie przez rz\u0105d, potem debaty sejmowe, komisje, podkomisje, g\u0142osowania, senat, by\u0107 mo\u017ce ponownie sejm. A na koniec prezydent. Zero, zero szans na dotrzymanie terminu znanego od DW\u00d3CH LAT! I to wszystko w czasie, gdy Minsterstwem kieruje przedstawicielka Lewicy, partii kt\u00f3ra tak bardzo troszczy sie o prawa pracownicze!\r\n\r\nNo i jeszcze: tu nie chodzi o to \u017ceby wdro\u017cy\u0107. Ale \u017ceby wdro\u017cy\u0107 zgodnie z jej celem: czyli tak, aby poprawia\u0142a sytuacje przestrzegania praw pracowniczych.\r\n\r\nA je\u015bli macie sk\u0142onno\u015bci do schadenfreude, to pocieszenie jest takie: jak na razie tylko jeden kraj w Unii Europejskiej wdro\u017cy\u0142 Dyrektyw\u0119: S\u0142owacja.
