Today, we return to this study, but with completely different data regarding the question: Do Delivery Platforms exploit &#8220;undocumented&#8221; workers?<\/p>\n<p>The study surveyed 1,004 people working as Delivery Platforms in France: 519 in Paris and 485 in Bordeaux. Nearly two-thirds of them \u2013 a staggering 64.4% \u2013 were undocumented, while a staggering 73.5% of Delivery Platforms work illegally through rented accounts. On average, the &#8220;account renter&#8221; pays the &#8220;owner&#8221; \u20ac528 per month. This demonstrates the scale of the double exploitation experienced by couriers: both by the subletter and by the Platform itself.<\/p>\n<p>All of this contradicts the platforms&#8217; claims of a &#8220;zero tolerance&#8221; policy towards illegal work and account sharing. Niemal dwie trzecie z nich \u2013 a\u017c 64,4% \u2013 stanowi\u0142y osoby nieudokumentowane, za\u015b a\u017c 73,5% Dostawc\u00f3w pracuje nielegalnie poprzez wynajmowane konta. \u015arednio \u201enajemca konta\u201d p\u0142aci jego \u201ew\u0142a\u015bcicielowi\u201d 528 euro miesi\u0119cznie. Pokazuje to skal\u0119 podw\u00f3jnego wyzysku, jakiego do\u015bwiadczaj\u0105 kurierzy: zar\u00f3wno ze strony osoby podnajmuj\u0105cej, jak i samej Platformy. \r\n\r\nWszystko to zaprzecza zapewnieniom Platform o ich polityce \u201ezero tolerancji\u201d dla nielegalnej pracy oraz dla wynajmu kont.
