However, the Platform also recognized that actual work only includes the time spent transporting orders. Not the waiting time for the order, nor the time spent traveling to pick them up. Therefore, a Delivery Driver can work eight hours a day, but will only be paid (and at an hourly rate) for two hours \u2013 because that&#8217;s the only time they transported orders.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the Platform still doesn&#8217;t reimburse employees for the costs of using their own tools, such as a bicycle or telephone.
