A week ago [November 12, 2025], those working as Suppliers for the Wolt Platform in Malta went on a one-day strike. The reason is the same as always: further pay cuts. Suppliers have published their rates for the same jobs. Recently, the Platform has been offering exactly 50% of their previous salary.<\/p>\n
As a reminder, the Maltese government plans to fully unionize all those working as Suppliers for the Platforms. This unusual move is intended to ensure that the Platforms respect workers’ rights.
