The WSB Merito University in Toru\u0144 has just defended its master’s thesis entitled “Perceived stress and work engagement as determinants of life satisfaction among couriers working on online platforms.” The author, Sergiusz Kwasigroch, describes many aspects of stress experienced at work and how it affects our sense of life satisfaction. He also points out that actual stress levels can be much higher than perceived, as delivery workers are often on the move, which promotes the reduction of cortisol (the stress hormone) in the body.<\/p>\n
He concluded: “The perceived level of life satisfaction among people working on online platforms is so low that it should be the subject of further research.”<\/p>\n
