In it, Just Eat accuses Glovo of unfair competition, consisting in avoiding the employment of people working as Delivery Persons on employment contracts (Just Eat itself employs on the basis of contracts for services). Just Eat is seeking EUR 295 million from Glovo. The case is to be heard between June 17 and 20, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Because this is a trial between companies, the Just Eat lawsuit aims to award millions of dollars in damages and the Glovo management cannot be punished with prison sentences. However, Glovo founder Oscar Pierre may soon receive a prison sentence. This is about another case, this time a criminal one.
