Wells and Fundy Ustek Spilda, on the phenomenon of the Uberization of the nursing profession.<\/p>\n<p>The authors point out that companies providing on-demand nursing services (such as CareRev, Clipboard Health, ShiftKey or ShiftMed) promised hospitals more control over expenses and more flexibility for nurses. However, as it turns out, Platforms, by forcing nurses to work for less pay, do not provide them with certainty about the schedule and the amount or nature of work, while at the same time not taking any responsibility for the safety of employees.
