It is a project in which people working as Supply Platforms and academics from the University of Edinburgh collaborate. It is also supported by the Scottish Trade Union Congress.<\/p>\n
This is another study that confirms the rather grim picture of working for Supply Platforms. Among people working as Delivery Drivers in Edinburgh who responded to the survey:
\n– 30% had an accident at work,
\n– almost half had a bike stolen,
\n– 25% had their account temporarily blocked by the Algorithm,
\n– 2\/3 of them believe that they did not receive tips that customers paid via the app,
\n– and as many as 40% of people complained about long waits and poor treatment in restaurants and bars from which they collect orders.<\/p>\n
