On October 11 [2024], people working as Delivery Workers on the efood.gr Platforms (belonging to Delivery Hero, operating in Poland as Glovo) and Wolt went on strike. A strike was announced in defense of collective agreements, demanding full insurance coverage for employees and granting the same rights to remuneration as in full-time employment, so that they would cover all Delivery Workers.<\/p>\n
The strike was supported by many trade unions, including SVEOD (we wrote about it here<\/a>)<\/p>\n However, this coming weekend [18-19.10.2024] in Athens there will be a series of meetings and discussions devoted to work for Platforms organized by SVEOD.
