Yes, yes, six zlotys per hour of work. Why does Glovo refuse to raise this rate? Because &#8220;the company&#8217;s budget is limited&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>It is therefore worth adding context to this scandalous (in our opinion) statement and reminding that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Glovo is a brand belonging to the Delivery Hero (DH) corporation. The corporation currently operates in over 70 countries under brands such as Foodora, Food Panda, foody, efood.gr, Instashop, Hungerstation and Yemeksepeti.<\/li>\n<li>DH bought Glovo almost three years ago for EUR 2.3 billion.<\/li>\n<li>DH&#8217;s revenues in the first half of 2024 are over EUR 23.5 billion, 6.3% more than in the first half of 2023. For comparison, EUR 23.5 billion is about PLN 100 billion, or roughly what Poland spent on healthcare at the same time.<\/li>\n<li>In Europe alone, DH&#8217;s revenues this year increased by 18.2%<\/li>\n<li>In the report for the first half of 2024, DH admits that in three countries (Portugal, Spain and Argentina), it has lost court cases for violating workers&#8217; rights.
